Hilltop Resort Fukuoka

The hotel itself and the room was large and beautiful, the view at night was amazing. Staff are welcoming and kind, they moved all our luggage that was forwarded to them into our room and everything was placed carefully. Their shuttle bus service was great to have as well.

The room is a bit dated. The bathtub had paint peeling off, I think the bathroom door needs replacing as well. To me, for such a large space, too much of it was taken up by super large beds, and it under-utilises the space for other things that would be useful to guests, such as a microwave or an ironing board. I also didn't like that the toilet didn't have its own light switch, just an automatic sensor that would time out every minute or so.

No one was at the coffee shop lounge area most times so we went off site for coffee

The breakfast set is impressive! Well balanced and tasty. The twin beds are relatively small Pillows are too soft, the provided pajamas are too old & a bit stinky. Key card will be more preferred than key.

Nice location, clean rooms and good service.

The sinks in bathroom are very low, in spite of a newly renovation of the hotel and increasing average height of the population.

The men’s onsen was too hot to enter with a sign literally warning guests that the water was “too hot”. That is such a let down for guests who have limited time staying for only one night.

Super friendly and helpful staff! My room was quite large and even had its own terrace with a view over the city (the hotel is located on top of a hill, as the name suggests). Room service with delicious meals is available. Public path was very nice as well.

My only complaint was the location - it is located on top of a pretty steep hill so getting anywhere without a taxi/shuttle bus is quite a hassle.

Spacious suite family room overlooking Hakata. Hotel staff are generally friendly and prompt to help. Mini bar filled with yummy interesting beverages. Nice spacious bath/spa facilities.

It was great being in a tranquil neighborhood, on a hill, with the option of taking a shuttle into town. There’s not much to do right outside the hotel, but the views are more than worth it. The staff are extremely sweet and helpful.

We rent a car during Fukuoka, so the free parking was a plus. Late check in & out was great since we arrive late by plane. The room size is good for the price, didn’t try out the public bath since I got tattoos.

You need to hand your room key back to the reception, if you going out of the hotel.

Bit disappointed the restaurants were not open for me and wasn’t pre-warned before. Had nice Ramen in town anyway so all good

This place is an absolute gem. The view is spectacular, the buffet dinner at sunset was incredible, and the onsen is top notch.

It was great! I love every detail the staff put for us, the Pijamas, sleepers, tea everything thing hotel has beautiful views I live it! Totally recommend it. Beautiful room!!

Literally everything. Nice little resort hotel with BIG offering.

It’s on top of a hill so naturally it takes more timeand efforts to get up. I am not complaining as the view is good and air is fresh.

The staff is very kind and all the space are clean.

The location is not close to the station but there is shuttel for Hakata station
